Claire Battensby, 2nd year trainee

I started working for the Firm as a summer student during my third year at University. After working within the Leasing Department at the Kingswells Office for two years, I started my Traineeship in the Conveyancing Department where I found the workload and certain tasks quite daunting, but there was always somebody at hand to assist with any difficulties I encountered or any questions I needed answered.

What I particularly enjoy about working for Aberdein Considine is that the Firm operates an ‘open door policy’. There is always someone to help. Even if a solicitor is based in one of our offices at the other side of Aberdeen, there is always someone at the other end of the phone.

Anyone working within the Firm will tell you that the social activities are fantastic. There is a Social Committee, which plans and organises a variety of social events throughout the year, including, pub quizzes and a Summer B.B.Q. If I were to sum up working for the Firm in a few words, it would be, ‘work hard play hard’.
