We have an exciting opportunity available for an Apprentice to join our Corporate Property Services team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will perform all administrative duties relating to the remortgage of properties within the standard remortgage team. This is an entry level role and the successful candidate will be required to complete their SVQ in Business and Administration alongside the position. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Collection, distribution and taking for signing CPS mail at specific times during the day
  • Collection, allocation, copying (where required), filing and scanning to case history all incoming mail relating to the corporate conveyancing department
  • Opening of remortgage files via case import or manual keying
  • Ordering, receiving and reviewing legal search reports to ascertain what category of remortgage transaction we are acting on.
  • Ordering and, where necessary, chasing / following up redemption statement requests from lenders
  • Issuing welcome packs to remortgage customers via their chosen method of receipt – electronically and by post
  • Reviewing returned documents by remortgage customers to ensure all are signed correctly, completed in full and contain the required information to allow the transaction to proceed
  • Returning voicemails and emails within client SLA guidelines
  • Closure of files on case management system once files complete and ledger balanced
  • Archiving hard copy files, scanning onto system and securely disposing of documents
  • Answering the department telephone and dealing with basic requests for information / updates on cases where appropriate
  • Set up and co-ordination of any webex meetings
  • Ensuring LSPG Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times

Qualifications

Essential

Minimum of 5 Standard Grades or equivalent. 


Desirable

3 Highers or equivalent. 

Skills and Experience

Essential

Knowledge of all Microsoft office packages.

Previous experience of working within an office.
