We have an exciting opportunity available for an Apprentice to join our Corporate Property Services team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will perform all administrative duties relating to the remortgage of properties within the standard remortgage team. This is an entry level role and the successful candidate will be required to complete their SVQ in Business and Administration alongside the position. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Importing or manual opening of remortgage cases from instruction
  • Ordering, receiving and reviewing legal search reports to ascertain what category of remortgage transaction we are acting on
  • Issuing welcome packs to remortgage customers via their chosen method of receipt - electronically and by post
  • Reviewing returned documents by remortgage customer to ensure all are signed correctly, completed in full and contain the required information to allow the transactions to proceed
  • Telephone and email communication with remortgage customers to discuss, progress and review their transactions
  • Liaising mortgage introducers and clients to provide assistance and updates on cases
  • Requesting of redemption statements 
  • Returning voicemails and emails within client SLA guidelines
  • Administration duties where appropriate - scanning, filing, receiving voicemails and distributing them 
  • Ensuring LSPG Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times

Qualifications

Desirable 

HNC or HND in Business or Legal related subject 

Skills and Experience

Essential

Experience and knowledge of all Microsoft office applications. 


Desirable

Previous experience of working with a case management system.

Knowledge of private client and corporate conveyancing general procedures - legal reports, titles reviews and undertakings
