Infrastructure Analyst

ROLE OF DEPARTMENT
- Deliver high levels of customer service using effective communication skills.
- Setting and Managing expectation levels and contributing to continual improvement of the firms' systems
- Support and develop the firms IT systems so it meets the demands of the firm, enabling us to meet our business goals and objectives
JOB PURPOSE
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of the firm’s IT infrastructure.
- Support and maintain core systems including Citrix, Visualfiles, storage, and backup solutions.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects.
- Support the firm’s strategic goals through scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain and support Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
· Support and troubleshoot Visualfiles case management systems, including upgrades, integrations, and customisations.
· Provide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
· Monitor and manage server, storage, and network infrastructure across multiple office locations.
· Assist in storage utilisation, ensuring efficient capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution.
· Maintain backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and business continuity.
· When required collaborate on infrastructure projects and system improvements.
· Ensure compliance with legal industry standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are advantageous.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in the relevant domain
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Strong experience with Citrix or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Hands-on experience with Visualfiles administration and support.
- Background in legal IT environments or professional services firms.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with storage management (e.g., SAN) and backup technologies (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, or similar).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Full, clean Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with ITIL practices and service management tools.
- Familiarity with legal applications such as Visualfiles, SOS or any alternatives

· Good communication skills dealing with a variety of business levels both internally and externally
