Aberdein Considine are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to assist our Partner based within our Perth office. The role will involve assisting the Partner with all conveyancing formalities in regard to sale, purchase and private remortgage transactions and also assisting the Estate Agency Teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Audio Dictation, Opening Purchase Files on Visual Files/Preparing Quotations/TOB’s/Offers/typing missive letters/completing Money Laundering/importing documents onto case management system
- Maintain paper files post settlement i.e. chasing outstanding documents, sending out documents to clients, Lenders and Solicitors and liaising with conveyancers re file issues
- Submitting offers on behalf of clients
- Dealing with clients within office and on the telephone
- Keeping Client updated on their transaction
- Scanning relevant file documents onto case management system, sending out Deeds, closing and shredding files
- Meet with clients to take relevant ID/witness client signatures on documentation
Qualifications
Essential
National 5 / Higher qualifications or equivalent

Knowledge

- Knowledge of conveyancing transaction processes
