Aberdein Considine are looking for a newly qualified Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will act for clients in the legal aspects of sale and purchase transactions, remortgages and transfers of title. 

ROLE OF DEPARTMENT
  • To assist clients with the sale and purchase of residential properties 
  • To offer our services in relation to various other private client matters such as wills, continuing and welfare powers of attorney, discharges of standard security,  transfers of title and equity releases

JOB PURPOSE
  • To provide clients with the best advice in order for them to achieve the best outcome for their property
  • To manage client expectations and ensure that good relationships are maintained

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining regular client contact and delivering a high standard of client service
  • Building and maintaining relationships with referrers and contributing to business development whilst growing professional profile
  • Managing own caseload of residential property transactions with conveyancer and administrative support. 
  • Uphold the firm’s values and standards of professionalism

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential
  • LLB with Hons
  • Diploma in Legal Practice
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Strong background Residential Conveyancing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong IT proficiency and ability to manage digital workflows
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage client expectations

KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience with case management systems or relevant digital tools
  • Notary Public
