Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
 
To deliver all duties relating to the remortgage of residential properties to a high standard together with exceptional client and customer service at all times, supported by full technical training and developmental opportunities
 
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Manage a caseload of remortgage transactions from the point of instruction through to completion and registration at Land Registry
  • Responsible for dealing with all technical aspects of each transaction including title checking and review of all relevant paperwork
  • Act pro-actively whilst organising and prioritising activities to ensure that all transactions are progressed in a timely manner and in line with agreed service levels
  • Provide excellent client and customer service when dealing with all interested parties to answer queries, provide updates and obtain information
  • Deal promptly and effectively with all internal and external communications and correspondence, supported by clear and concise responses
  • Ensure detailed telephone notes are recorded throughout the transaction so that a thorough case history is recorded
  • Maintaining the good order of case files to ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external requirements where applicable
  • Support and adhere to good practices including confidentially procedures and data protection requirements

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
 
Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English with a minimum grade C

Desirable
  • Law or conveyancing focused qualifications

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
 
Desirable
  • Experience of working in a high volume/transactional environment and dealing with clients and customers
 
KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of conveyancing
