Aberdein Considine has reinforced its commitment to sport within the north-east with the announcement of a two year sponsorship of junior football club Culter FC.
A leading legal firm has reinforced its commitment to sport within the north-east with the announcement of a two year sponsorship of junior football club Culter FC.
Aberdein Considine has pledged its support to the reigning Superleague champions in a deal which will see the firm remain as the club’s main sponsors until the end of the 2016/17 season.
The firm, which has 18 offices across the whole of Scotland, has already shown dedication to sport this year as main sponsors of Newtonmore Camanachd Club, one of the most famous clubs in the sport of shinty.
The firm has also thrown its support behind shinty’s Sir William Sutherland Cup as title sponsor and recently signed up as a gold sponsor of the Dandara Friends of Hazelhead 5K run; a new and exciting event which took place in Aberdeen’s Hazlehead Park on August 30.
Harvey Aberdein, Managing Partner of Aberdein Considine, is delighted to be supporting Culter FC as main sponsors for the next two years and is looking forward to further success for the club this year.
He said: “Over the last few years, Culter FC really has established itself as one of Scotland’s best junior sides and we’re delighted to be aligned with such a successful and ambitious club.
“This year Culter will participate in the Scottish Cup and this participation fits the firm’s own vision as we look to further enhance our nationwide offering in the months and year ahead.
“Aberdein Considine has always shown a commitment to supporting grassroots sport in Scotland and we’re looking forward to a prosperous relationship with Culter over the next two years.”
Gordon Thomson, president of Culter FC, said “I’m delighted that Aberdein Considine has agreed to be the main sponsor for Culter FC for the next two years. Aberdein Considine is a well-known company in the north-east and particularly in Lower Deeside where it started in 1981 and has previously assisted the club over the years in numerous support functions.
“I know Harvey Aberdein very well and I know the club will have the support of the firm to ensure Culter FC continues to be a successful club in junior football and also to be actively involved with Culter Youth Football Club and the local community.
“Winning the North Super League last year has meant we have qualified for the Scottish Cup again, so looking forward for local support for the match against Strathspey Thistle at Crombie Park, Culter, on September 13.”
