Aberdein Considine has welcomed Niall Sharry to his role as it strengthens its offering in advance of the final auto-enrolment deadline, which will see all companies in the UK participate in the workplace pension scheme by February 2018.
Mr Sharry, who joins the firm from Scottish Widows - where he has worked for more than a decade - brings with him over 30 years of financial services experience with particular specialism in group pensions. He will be based at the firm’s Bon-Accord Crescent office in Aberdeen.
Peter Mutch, Aberdein Considine’s Corporate Benefits Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Niall aboard and are fortunate to be able to attract such an experienced consultant to our successful corporate team.
“Aberdein Considine is committed to providing the highest standard advice and service to its clients and with the pressing need for SME businesses to face the challenges that auto-enrolment brings, the timing is excellent.”
In his new role, Mr Sharry will be integral in assisting employees to achieve a structured approach to their individual benefits and protection issues alongside helping individuals to fully understand the value of their pension.
Mr Sharry added: “I am excited to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on providing quality service.
“This is a time of great change in the world of pensions and I look forward to working with Peter and his team to help our corporate clients, both existing and new, meet these challenges.”
