FROM its elevated position this home in Inverurie has uninterrupted views toward Bennachie.
For two years this new-build has been home to the Stuart family.
Dad-of-one, Craig, 43, said: “My wife and I liked the fact Inverurie has great amenities for the whole family.
“We were also impressed with the excellent transport links, and the fact it is only a 15 minute stroll into the town centre.”
Craig and Angela, 44, a council administrator have appreciated their short but happy time in the four-bedroom home they share with their son, Lachlan, 11.
Buying the property off plan meant they could upgrade to a silver double oven and also choose the flooring.
The accommodation comprises a lounge, dining kitchen, cloakroom, master bedroom with en suite, three further bedrooms and family bathroom, and has been decorated and carpeted in neutral colours.
The Stuarts, who originally hail from up Inverness way love their dining kitchen – which according to Craig is the hub of the home.
Although he is quick to point out it is mainly Angela’s domain.
“I take care of the DIY side of things and leave Angela with the cooking, he said.
“She is a far better cook than I am!”
Outside, there is a large driveway, which can easily accommodate four cars.
The large rear garden is a blank canvas for any budding gardener – and it has lovely views toward the Mither Tap.
Due to family commitments, the Stuarts are now looking to relocate back north after nearly two decades of being away. But they have nothing but fond memories of their time in Ash Grove.
“It’s been a great home to us, and we have appreciated having some great neighbours too,” said Craig.
