On the 1st of November 2014 Aberdein Considine expanded into a fifth Scottish city as we completed a merger with Stirling-based Muirhead Buchanan.
Muirhead Buchanan has been a major part of the Stirling legal scene for close to a century.
The merger gives Aberdein Considine 18 offices across the country, including the key cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and now Stirling.
Muirhead Buchanan provide a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses with an emphasis on domestic and commercial conveyancing, trust and executry, family and general civil court work.
Aberdein Considine are one of Scotland’s Top 10 law firms, Scotland’s Number 1 Solicitor Estate and Letting Agent and one of the country’s largest Independent Financial Advisers.
Well known and respected Muirhead Buchanan partners, Philip Anderson and Anthony Quin, have become partners at Aberdein Considine as part of the merger.
The firm will continue to operate from its premises at 8 Allan Park.
Existing clients of both firms will experience a seamless transition and it is very much ‘business as usual’ at Allan Park.
As someone who regards himself as being a sophisticated and experienced investor, I was somewhat skeptical as to what AC could offer me. However the firm has exceeded my expectation and have helped me in building a diversified portfolio completely in line with my risk profile.
