Aberdein Considine are looking for an Administration Assistant to join their Union Street office. The role will involve providing administrative support to the Associates / Solicitors within the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging meetings, taking calls and assisting with typing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audio Dictation, Opening Purchase Files on Visual Files/Preparing Quotations/TOB’s/Offers/typing missive letters/completing Money Laundering/importing documents onto case management system
  • Liaise with Estate Agency to ensure property window cards are current
  • Maintain paper files post settlement i.e. chasing outstanding documents, sending out documents to clients, Lenders and Solicitors and liaising with conveyancers re
    file issues
  • Scanning relevant file documents onto case management system, sending out Deeds, closing and shredding files
  • Meet with clients to take relevant ID/witness client signatures on documentation

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable
  • English and Maths at higher level
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
  • Previous office experience
  • Ability to multi-task / good organisational skills
  • Positive and proactive manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
 
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a law firm
