Position Type: Full time / Maternity Cover (initial 12 month period)

Aberdein Considine are looking to recruit a Mortgage and Protection Case Manager to join our busy financial services team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will provide administration support to the mortgage advisers as well as being responsible for the day-to-day processing of new business and servicing requests for existing clients. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times
  • Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C, Consumer Duty, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes
  • Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with up 2 mortgage advisers
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per the firm’s procedures
  • Provide administration support including meeting preparation, submitting DIPs and applications, maintaining client files, data processing, case management and diary management
  • Liaising with clients, providing updates on cases and requesting documentation as appropriate

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
  • Excellent communication skills, in person, by telephone and in written form
  • Highly efficient with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service
  • Ability to work independently, develop solutions and solve problems
Desirable
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Understanding of the mortgage market
KNOWLEDGE
Essential
  • Broad knowledge of financial services and processes
  • Good I.T skills (Microsoft Office)
