Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Position type: Full-time / Permanent

Following the firm’s merger with Russel + Aitken (Edinburgh), and an increase in volumes of work, the firm are looking for a dynamic, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join and help grow our conveyancing department in Edinburgh. 

The ideal candidate will be NQ to 4 years PQE with a preferred background in residential conveyancing and will act for clients in the legal aspects of sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages and transfer of title.

The ideal candidate will meet with clients who are intending to buy or sell their property and discuss the process of the intended transaction. Following this, the role will involve submitting offers for properties on the client’s behalf, concluding missives for purchases, examination of the titles in relation to a purchase and advising clients on the legal implications of any issues arising. The role will also involve concluding missives in relation to the sale of the client’s property and dealing with the conveyancing involved.
