Our busy Stonehaven office are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join their team as a property Valuer. A company vehicle will be made available for use. A Full UK driving licence is essential.

 
ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT
The role of the department is to identify and secure new valuation opportunities and to then successfully convert those valuations in to new business. It is important to ensure correct pricing of properties and maximum exposure for clients properties too. The department will also identify other business opportunities that will generate revenue for the
firm whilst still providing an efficient, reliable and professional service at all times.
 
JOB PURPOSE
  • To provide an accurate market valuation of clients properties
  • Sell the benefits of marketing with Aberdein Considine
  • Identify additional client requirements and cross sell other services offered by Aberdein Considine


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide an accurate valuation, supported by comparable evidence where available
  • Advise clients of an appropriate marketing strategy specific to their property
  • Explain the benefits of selling with Aberdein Considine and highlight why we are different to our competitors
  • Explain our fee structure/costs and promptly follow up with a written quotation
  • Explain the selling process
  • Suggest potential improvement works which may deliver a higher return or enhance saleability
  • Following the appointment, maintain regular contact with the client
  • Establish reasons for any lost instructions
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the property market and the main competitors

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to Higher level or above
