Aberdein Considine has beaten off stiff competition from legal firms across the country to be short-listed as finalists in two categories of the 2011 Law Awards of Scotland.

The firm has been nominated for the prestigious Firm of Year (Over 50 Fee-earners) Award and Managing Partner, Harvey Aberdein, in his 30th year in charge, is in the running for the Managing Partner of the Year award.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton on the 8th of September.

Partner Iain Considine commented “We are extremely proud that both the firm’s achievements and Harvey’s stewardship over the last 12 months have been recognised by an independent panel of well-respected public figures.  This is the first year we have taken part in the awards, so we are delighted to be nominated in two of the key categories”
