The 2018 Elevator Awards took place last night at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel at Blairs, near Aberdeen.
Over 400 guests attended the event, which saw eleven individuals and firms recognised for their business achievements, including Andy Willox, the former Scottish Policy Convener of the Federation of Small Businesses in Scotland who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Aberdein Considine sponsored the Business Success under 3 years category which was won by Fierce Beer, who are led by Dave Grant and David McHardy. The firm has opened a bar in the city and exports to 14 countries around the world. Last year, Fierce Beer won the Most Promising New Business award.
Among the other winners, Jeanette Forbes, chief executive of Aberdeen based tech firm PCL Group won the Entrepreneur of the Year award and Charlie House won the Enterprising Communities Award.
A total of 27 finalists were shortlisted for the event, with the winners including start-ups and a range of businesses from different sectors.
