Aberdein Considine has again been named as one of Scotland’s top law firms by a prestigious industry guide.
Aberdein Considine has again been named as one of Scotland’s top law firms by a prestigious industry guide.
For the second year running, the firm has been awarded coveted ‘Top Tier’ status by the Legal 500 guide, which ranks and rates the best lawyers in the world.
The accolade is in the field of Debt Recovery – and the firm has also been recognised in the fields of Corporate and Commercial Law, Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation and Family Law.
Leonie Donald has been personally recommended by the guide for their Dispute Resolution expertise – specifically the Debt Recovery work they do for major UK banks.
Corporate and Commercial Partners Jacqueline Law and Ritchie Whyte have also been handed personal recommendations for the third year running thanks to their excellent reputation in the SME sector.
The firm's Commercial Property Division, led by Partner Paul Jennings, is now rated across Scotland for the work it does with developers, high street retailers and hotel groups.
And there was also a personal recommendation for the firm’s Partner in charge of Family Law, Ruth Aberdein, whose “professional and confident” approach to matters is described as a “great comfort” to her clients.
The Legal 500 series, which has been published for over two decades, is highly regarded by lawyers and clients alike due to its independent research-based assessment of law firm and lawyer capabilities.
The Legal 500 has described Aberdein Considine as “one of Scotland’s fastest growing law firms”.
The Partnership offers property, legal and financial services to private and commercial clients across Scotland - and specialist legal services to lenders and financial institutions across the whole of mainland Britain.
Its clients include global banking giants Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group and Santander, as well high street retailers including Greggs PLC and Rox.
As a result, the firm now has nearly 400 partners and staff spread across the UK, including the key legal cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Stirling and Newcastle.
Mrs Law, the firm’s Managing Partner, added: “With new offices in Glasgow and Newcastle opening during 2016, it has been another year of growth for the firm.
“We are delighted to see this growth reflected in these respected guides.”
