Julie McMahon


Julie is an Associate in our Wills, Trusts and Executries team. She specialises in advising individuals and business owners and their families in relation to succession planning, asset protection, inheritance tax mitigation, wills, trusts, executries and later life planning.

Julie is the trusted legal adviser to a wide range of clients across the Central Belt working from Glasgow and Edinburgh..

As well as being a lawyer, she is also a fully qualified chartered tax accountant and advises clients in areas of inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax.

She has a particular interest and expertise in winding up complex estates involving businesses and foreign assets and advises clients in relation to the creation of and administration of asset protection trusts.

Clients comment on her friendly and approachable manner and her ability to empathise with clients giving clear and concise advice that is free of legal jargon.
