Leonie Donald


Leonie Donald qualified in 2005 and joined the firm in 2013 from HBJ Gateley. She is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery Department providing commercial litigation to both private and commercial clients.

She handles a wide range of both complex and high value cases in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session and litigates in Scotland and England and Wales. She has a particular interest in insolvency and general commercial litigation.

Her extensive experience in acting for both private and commercial clients, and in particular many leading financial institutions, provides her with a wealth of expertise in many areas and she is renowned for her succinct, commercial advice presented in a manageable and time sensitive manner.

In December 2015, Leonie was awarded the Signet Accreditation, a specialist post-qualification honour for Scottish solicitors. She is one of just 21 commercial litigators to hold the accolade. She is recommended by both the Legal 500 and the Chamber & Partners guides.
