At Aberdein Considine, our people are our greatest asset - so every week we are meeting with a different member of the team so you can get to know them better.
Today we are getting to know Douglas Telfer, who has over ten years' experience of buying and selling properties in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
"I am the resident Partner in our Glasgow South offices. I joined the Firm shortly after the opening of our first office in Glasgow and I am proud to be part of the expansion and growth the Firm continues to make in the city.
"I specialise in residential conveyancing (buying and selling houses) and pride myself on ensuring that my clients’ transactions are as stress free as possible.
"I would describe myself as a people person so I enjoy building a strong rapport with my clients and I take great satisfaction in helping them secure their dream home."
Glasgow has been and always will be my home city. I am obviously biased but I firmly believe we are the friendliest city in the world. I suppose the biggest drawback is the weather!
I act for first-time buyers right through to purchasers of retirement homes so I have the pleasure of dealing with a wide demographic of Glaswegians. We have a fantastic team in our branch who take pride in offering our clients a buying and selling service which is second to none.
We have just commenced marketing the property at 5 Cunningham Drive, Giffnock. This is a fantastic, detached family home in prime East Renfrewshire location. I doubt it will be on the market very long…
Not enough words!
I have a passion for sport and always harboured dreams of being a sports agent or a sports journalist.
I enjoy playing a variety of sports and I also enjoy taking my dog for long walks. Like most Glaswegians I enjoy socialising!
Client communication is paramount. Buying a house is the most important and expensive transaction a person will undertake and it is vital that I keep my clients fully advised as the transaction progresses.
Given I am a lawyer I would prefer to keep that confidential!
