At Aberdein Considine, our people are our greatest asset - so every week we are meeting with a different member of the team so you can get to know them better.
This week we're getting to know Jordan MacKay, Branch Manager of our two Edinburgh offices, who started his career as a 16-year-old junior at Aberdein Considine's Stonehaven office!
I am the Branch Manager for the Elm Row and Lothian Road offices in Edinburgh and have just entered my 20th year in property - despite my young appearance!
I started my career with Aberdein Considine after spending a week's work experience with the company whilst at school and haven't looked back.
Starting off in Aberdeenshire, I moved through to Edinburgh a few years ago. As well as being Branch Manager, I'm also a valuer and and love visiting clients and helping them through the whole selling and buying process.
I am proud to say that I was involved in the opening of our second office on Elm Row and growing the Aberdein Considine brand in the competitive Edinburgh market.
I truly believe Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, I just love the architecture but most of all the diversity of its residents and there is just so much to do.
It would have to 2/3 Douglas Crescent which has some stunning features let alone a fantastic location.
Dedicated, compassionate and honest.
My parents said from an early stage that I would be an estate agent, I would pick up Property Registers and all I ever built with Lego was houses!
I work for my holidays, I love travelling the world with Singapore and Thailand next on the list (weekly countdown has started!)
Stick to your promises and communication is key
That would be telling (or actually there isn’t anything that exciting to tell!)
